Phat Shout to Markell on tuning me into this track.
It was last night, The Oscars were boring, the commercials were somewhat fresh, and a Diet Coke commercial came on featuring the original “Sweet Disposition” by the Temper Traps. Justin Markell looks over to me and asks me if I had heard the Axwell remix of the cut. I replied “No”. He showed me it. I enjoyed it. Now I’m posting it.
1) Sweet Disposition (Axwell & Dirty South Remix)
What is it that makes these Swedish House Mafia remixes so damn good. Perhaps we must harken back to our love lives to find an answer. A Swedish remix is the equivalent of a girl who shows so much promise that you grow absolutely smitten for her. she leads you on and on and on, until you are absolutely smolderingly hot on her heels and she has you absolutely captivated. Then she keeps you waiting, and waiting, until finally at the 3:51 minute mark of the song she explodes and delivers on every promise, fulfilling your every need and exceeding expectations. Then when it’s done you really desperately need a cigarette.
so be patient when you’re listening and you will be thoroughly rewarded. But don’t just skip right to 3:51 idiot that’s like watching the last scene of Scarface without watching the rest of the movie.
